A: NO - enjoy your day and leave the children to us

A: We would require a space at your venue to set up our equipment. Most venues such as hotels are very accomodating and will provide a separate space for our activities. The size of the room is unimportant as we will adapt our creche to fit the room. However if we deem the room to be unsafe for use we will cancel the creche booking with prior notice. If you are unsure we can contact your venue and find a solution. When you book The Jumblies creche part of the package is to liase with the hotels and find a workable solution to your childcare needs. Leave that part of the planning to us.

Q: Who works for you?
A: All our staff are expereinced childcare practionners from a variety of fields. Some work within schools as teachers, teaching assistant or after school club workers while others work in the private sector as nannies the remainer work within nursery settings. All members of staff hold a valid CRB police check. At any one creche 75% of the workers will have a childcare qualification and ALL will have worked within childcare in the last 12mths. At every creche you will have at least one but often more members of staff that are trained first aiders. You will also have a child protection trained member of staff present at the creche. If you require a more detailed breakdown of the members of staff that will be present at your creche we will be happy to supply this.  

A: Prior to your event The Jumblies creche will visit your venue and carry out a free health and safety check of the room. This includes providing equipment to make the room more child friendly such as plug caps and fireguards. The Jumblies creche holds valid public liability insurance with Michel Morton and all our activities are risk assessed. Our staff have been police checked and hold valid CRB certificates. As a point of good practise we adhere to Ofsted guidelines for safe staff:children ratios. We also laise with Ofsted to impliment any methods of good practise.


A: Absolutely. Contact us and tell us which document you require and we will forward you a copy. However we regret that although CRB certificates can be viewed you are unable to retain a copy as they contain the personal contact details of our staff.

A:  Firstly decide how long you would like the creche to attend your event .
Then count the number of children expected to attend your event and make a note of their ages.
You can then check the price of your creche on our prices and booking page. After this contact us and we will start planning your perfect creche.  A £100 deposit will confirm the booking. This can now be paid online via paypal. 

A: Unfortunately we do not provide food but we can supervise the children eating. We are also happy to bottle feed and assist toddlers eating. Although again because of the vast array of baby food and milk on the market we ask parents to provide this.

Q:Can I collect my child at any time?
A: Of course. As long as our booking in and out procedures are followed, children can be collect whenever their parents want

Q: My wedding is in outside/ in a marquee is this a problem?
A: Having a marquee wedding or wedding in an unusual venue should not stop you booking a mobile creche. The Jumblies Mobile Creche has a 6m x 3m party tent for use alongside a wedding marquee or for use at an outside venue. There is no additional costs to book The Jumblies for an outdoor wedding.
